Door Restrictors for uPVC doors are great at limiting the opening of your door so it doesn’t continuously bang into things. A gust of wind or someone accidently slamming one of your doors can lead to excessive damage to the fixings that interact with the door and door frame, such as sill end caps, walls, radiators etc. By restricting the door opening to 90° the restrictor keeps the door frame away from any nearby objects whilst allowing full access to your property.
What Doors Will They Work On?
Door restrictors should be tough, durable and offer reliable weather resistance.They are designed to sit in the euro groove, commonly found on most major uPVC doors. However, they can also be used to provide adjustable resistance to patio doors, French doors and double doors.
Easy To Fit
The ‘Easy Fit’ design is simple to install, just slot into the eurogroove & fix it to the door frame, by using the 6 screws (which we provide). The arm can be disconnected to allow unrestricted movement, or allow the door to open fully. Whether you are replacing one of your old friction stays or tired of your doors slamming in a breeze then our door restrictor is a fantastic buy!
Important Note – This restrictor and hold-open function is robust, but is not designed to stop the door slamming in high winds or strong gusts!
